SCHEDULE

Saturday June 14, 2025

4 PM HARD MILES VIDEO SCREENING- Main banquet room will be a viewing of Hard Miles and Hard Miles 2.  Open to all.  No food is served but there will be a cash bar.

Sunday June 15, 2025

6 AM BREAKFAST- Breakfast for riders, pillions, staff, and all others who purchased tickets.

7 AM REGISTRATION- Individual registration checks with Nancy Oswald in Kinnick A.  Riders have already selected time for their meeting and will immediately conduct their odo check ride after the meeting.  These individual meetings go from 7 am until 2:30 pm

8 AM RM MEETINGS- Scheduled meetings for riders/pillions with Paul Tong in the main ballroom.  This meeting will cover the scoring app, staff/scorer expectations on bonus collections, and information about Spotwalla/SpeedTracker. See matrix below for meeting schedule.

3:30 PM ROOKIE MEETING - Main banquet room, only 1st time IBR riders/pillions. Meeting is not optional. 

7:00 PM HOSTED DINNER - This dinner is for riders/pillions, staff, and persons who purchased tickets.  Riders, your name badge provided at check-in is your ticket to all remaining meals.  All others, a staff volunteer will be in the banquet foyer to issue meal tickets you purchased.  THERE IS NO THEME REVEAL OR RALLY BOOKS AT THIS DINNER.  We will review some logistical information for the release on Monday morning.

Monday June 16, 2025

5 AM START MEETING - The 2025 Iron Butt Rally start meeting will be in the main banquet room.  Only riders/pillions, staff, and persons who have purchased tickets for the morning breakfast are allowed in.  Riders/pillions will have name badges already but persons with tickets can pick them up at the staff volunteer table in the banquet foyer.  RIDERS MUST BE IN THE ROOM AND SEATED BY 5 AM.  Doors shut at 5 AM and NO ONE will be allowed to enter.

6 AM BREAKFAST- Breakfast is open to riders/pillions, staff, and those who purchased tickets.  Fans/on-lookers are not allowed to hang-out in the room and must have a purchased ticket to enter.

11 AM START LINE/ODO CHECK OPEN- Riders may begin with odo recording and staging at start line.  There will be staff on hand to help direct parking/staging. 

11:40 AM RM/RIDERS SAFETY MEETING- At the assembly area, riders will meeting the RM and local law enforcement for the safety meeting and final departure brief.

12 PM IBR START- Riders will be released from the parking lot to begin the 2025 Iron Butt Rally.

Thursday June 19, 2025

4 PM - 8PM- Checkpoint open.

Friday June 20, 2025

5:00 AM- Checkpoint start meeting.  RIDERS/PILLIONS ONLY. NO SPECTATORS.

6 AM BREAKFAST- For riders/pillions, staff, and those who purchased tickets.  You cannot be in the banquet room if you did not purchase a ticket.

4 PM - 8PM- Checkpoint open.

Monday June 23, 2025

5:00 AM- Checkpoint start meeting.  RIDERS/PILLIONS ONLY. NO SPECTATORS.

6 AM BREAKFAST- For riders/pillions, staff, and those who purchased tickets.  You cannot be in the banquet room if you did not purchase a ticket.

Friday June 27, 2025

6 AM - 12 PM- Checkpoint open.  Riders are DNF at 12 PM.

7 PM FINISH AWARDS BANQUET- The awards banquet will be held in the main ballroom.  All riders/pillions, staff, and persons with purchased tickets are eligible to attend.  Purchased tickets can be picked up in the banquet foyer up until 6:30 PM.

The 2025 Iron Butt Rally started and ended in Coralville, IA.  Sunday June 15th was registration day and rider logistical day.  The actual start meeting where the rally theme was revealed and the rallybooks are distributed were on the morning of Monday June 16th.  Riders will be released around noon.
There were two checkpoints, both back in Coralville on Thursday June 19th and Sunday June 22nd.  The finish was at noon on Friday June 27th with the finish and awards banquet that evening in Coralville.
