My first Heart of Texas rally of May 6-8, 2026
I am learning as much as I can before the rally from past rider posts, YouTube videos , etc. I’m not sure if I will be able to enter locations on my old MacBookPro but I’ll bring it along anyway. I’m using my Garmin GPS as a backup tracker of my iPhone’s, already activated my Spotwalla private trip (I think).

Rules clarification for speeding
After reading some reports about speeding penalities , what is the rule for speeding ? sometimes riding with traffic takes us over the limit ?

On my way to IBR
OK all , Im not gettin any younger so this is it .. My year to do what it takes for an IBR birth . Step 1 , top 10 finish in the LDX . Looking forward to seeing everyone and kick stands up and rolling.

Paul will talk about this prior to the rally. Previously he has used terms like 'prudent' and 'reasonable'. The monitoring system seems geared toward identifying riders that speed excessively over longer distances. That said, what actually happens is entirely up to Paul. He has managed to keep this sport alive when others couldn't. Monitoring and penalizing excessive speed is a big part of keeping things going.
