Iron Butt Scoring

The Iron Butt Scoring app was built specifically for long-distance motorcycle rallies, with one goal in mind: make collecting and submitting bonus claims easier for riders and make scoring faster and more accurate for rally staff.

The app is available for both iPhone and Android through the Apple App Store and Google Play. It was designed around the realities of rally riding, including limited or nonexistent cellular service. Rally information and reference material can be downloaded to your device before the rally, and bonus claims can be captured while offline and submitted when connectivity is available.

Your privacy and the security of your information matter to us. The app only requests access to device features that are necessary to provide rally functionality. Depending on the features being used, this may include your camera, photo library, location, notifications, and other device services. The app does not access these features simply because they are available; access is governed by the permissions you grant on your device and by the functionality you choose to use.

Some rallies may also use the app's location tracking feature. Tracking is controlled by the requirements and settings of the individual rally and is clearly identified within the app. When tracking is enabled for an event, location information may be collected and transmitted as necessary to provide that service. We do not hide tracking or attempt to collect location information outside the functionality described to the rider.

Rider and rally information is maintained within the Iron Butt Scoring system so the app can identify you, provide access to the rallies for which you are registered, display your rally information, and process your bonus claims and supporting media. We collect and use information only as necessary to operate the scoring and rally-management system.

Most importantly, the app was created to solve a very practical problem. When you finish a rally, you've already done the hard part. You shouldn't have to spend hours standing in a scoring line. Iron Butt Scoring allows riders to document and submit their work throughout the rally so that scoring can be faster, more organized, and considerably less painful for everyone involved.
